Cali with Teancum
Eli and Cali were playing dress-up. Had to take this one of Cali. Notice her pigtails are poking out.
The family poses with Elder Zenger
Cali playing cowgirl. She says, "Ride, horsie, ride!"
Eli found Teancum--you can't get away dog!
CJ's bear, Aikman, is fixed!
Eli's first day of preschool
Hannah warming up with her team
Hannah runs for the ball. Look at those ripped legs!
Hannah looks a little timid. That number 8 was good!
Here they playing just before their sister Hannah runs in her very first 5k!
Hannah got involved in the Girls on the Run program through a friend. The girls had 3 or 4 coaches who worked with them twice a week for 12 weeks. They played games, talked about girlie stuff that they are faced with (ie. gossiping, being responsible, etc.), put together coloring kits for kids waiting in hospitals (as a community service project), and then ran a 5k. It is a WONDERFUL program!
Can you feel the anticipation?? What an awesome experience this was for me to share in how much I love running with my daughter. And so neat to be able to share in these times with friends...
We were so amazed that Hannah received a 3rd place medal for her age group. She had a very hard time the last 1/2 mile and we were very proud that she finished and gobstopped to find out she had won a medal!
Scary how much these little ones follow in our habits and ways.
This is one of Hannah's best friends, Victoria McDaniel. She is a fellow girl scout and a favorite to play with.
I am the assistant troop leader for Hannah's girl scout troop. We have a great leader, Vicki Middlebrook. We have had a lot of really great experiences as a troop.
Needless to say, this meeting was torture! Toooo long and not very organized. The kids (and Creighton) were ready to go home. :)
Poor Teancum. Eli tugs, squeezes, pulls, smothers., and then some on his canine pet.
We are waiting in line for the Indiana Jones show at Disney World's MGM Studios park. It was pretty close to the movie.
Or as Cali calls it, "The Towa of Tewor." He was the only kid brave enough to go on this ride. This one made me laugh the whole time. It is like being strung on a bunjee cord that bounces. So fun! This ones at MGM as well.
MGM studios was my favorite Disney World park.
This was the only line we stood in for pictures and autographs. It is very popular for people to go around all the parks and collect signatures of all the characters in autograph books.
This is the condo we stayed while at Disney World, the Marriott Grande Vista. It was luxurious. We had 2 bedrooms with a kitchen, and washer/dryer. We felt completely spoiled. This is a typical early moring for the kids.
CJ is pretty happy with his dad for taking the family to Disney World. He is Mr. Popular!
Everybody wheres a hat while they eat breakfast, don't they?
The poor gal is exhausted!
This restaurant is close to the USS Alabama. We discovered it one year on the way home from Gulf Shores, Al, and decided we needed to stop for fried fish again. On the way home from Disney World. Hannah is in the bathroom.
Waterview pool has a cave the kids can play in. They love it!
Jackie's grandmother opens her scrapbooking B&B for the girl scouts. It is located in Poetry, Tx--the country. The house is decorated so darling and the girls just love the free play.
Teancum is a beautiful white (when cleaned! :)) and loves to snuggle on white bedding. (I think it's a camouflage to help avoid the children--no such doing here. Cali always finds him!)
Brenda is a ward missionary and the family loves to have missionaries over for dinner. Elder Zenger was in the ward 8 months!
Eli loves, loves Teancum!
CJ had been requesting his favorite bear to be stitched up--his inners were falling out. So finally, after a very looong stint in the Tenney hospital, he was released and waiting for CJ one fine morning before school.
This will be Eli's last year of preschool. He goes 4 days a week and absolutely loves it! He comes home and does his homework too (mosty coloring! :)). He has Miss Kelli and Miss Courtney.
Unfortunately the team carries the name of Sooners (you can't help but cringe as it has reference to the Oklahoma Sooners--does this mean the whole Texas thing is sinking in?? Scary thought!)
